Live & Love, LLC provides cutting-edge events and media services for businesses of all sizes. Founded by award-winning Multimedia Maven Valerie Payne, Live & Love offers smart and innovative services to clients worldwide.

This Multimedia Maven has more than 13 years of experience. She was a Cross Platform Producer at CNN producing content for the CNN networks and CNN.com. She's earned three Peabody awards for her work at CNN covering the 2008 Presidential Election, the 2010 Gulf Oil Spill and 2011 Arab Spring coverage. Valerie also works as a Video Producer for an education technology company.

The name "Live & Love" was inspired by Valerie's late mother, Bernetta Herbert Payne. One day in 2011 while visiting her family in Richmond,Virginia, Valerie asked her mom for some life advice. Her response was simple: "live and love." The next day Valerie's mother passed away after a battle with cancer. Ever since that moment with her mother, Valerie has taken her mom's wise words to heart and vowed to live up to them. Valerie decided to launch a business that would allow her to focus on topics she was passionate about at events she hosted. She embraced her purpose to help, inform and inspire others to “live & love” as well. Live & Love, LLC was born in Atlanta in March 2014.

Valerie was born and raised in Silver Spring, Maryland. After graduating from high school, she attended Syracuse University. Valerie graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science in Broadcast Journalism and Communications and Rhetorical Studies. She received her Masters of Science in Public Communications, with a concentration Public Relations in 2019.

In her spare time, Valerie spends time with her family and friends. She loves to travel with her husband and they want to visit a different location each year. She enjoys reading, watching inspiring videos, and binging "Law and Order: SVU” reruns.
